We at AeroSmart Electronics would thank you for bringing the issues with the VoltAir smart laptops to our attention. In late September, we were made aware that VoltAir’s lithium-ion battery had overheated and caught fire, causing damage and injuries. AeroSmart will launch an investigation into the laptops' manufacturing. To ensure your safety and minimize further risk, we will issue a voluntary recall for all affected laptops. Individuals will receive either a free battery replacement or a refund for their device.

While we investigate this issue, a dedicated hotline will be available for any questions. A page on our website will also be set up for you to stay informed with full tech reports and updates on the current situation. We regret any distress this may have caused. Our teams are working steadily to prevent further issues and regain your trust.

We at AeroSmart Electronics have been informed about the VoltAir smart laptop issues that began in late September. The device’s lithium-ion battery has been overheating and catching fire, causing damage and injuries. I fully take responsibility for my company's shortcomings and the distress and panic they have caused in the community.

I will start an investigation into the laptop batteries; meeting our supporters' standards is our priority. I will share more information as our investigation progresses. In the meantime, to ensure community safety and minimize further risk, we will issue a voluntary recall for all affected laptops. Customers will receive either a free battery replacement or a refund for their device.
